Computers and related technologies are having, and will continue to have a profound effect on everyday life, both inside and outside the classroom. Computer based technologies can also offer students and teachers the opportunities to explore new and powerful ways of learning as well as offering valuable resources to support the more traditional teaching/learning approach. Students will experience the use of computers in a range of settings such as problem solving, discovery and enquiry, investigating, communication and expression, that is, across the curriculum in the basic learning areas.

Computer Education is facilitated through access to interactive whiteboards in every classroom along with multiple computers, with internet access in every classroom. The computers are used with a wide variety of software that specifically targets literacy and numeracy and allows access to search the web.
